Description
The Learn to Sew program was developed by Janet Corzatt as a series of four levels of sewing instruction geared toward the beginner, covering all the basics to help you start sewing on your own, with a sewing project for each level.
Expand your garment sewing skills by making a pair of lounge/pajama pants in this class.
Two 3-hour sessions—$125
In this class you’ll learn basic garment construction skills while sewing a fun, simple project that is a perfect way to start sewing clothing. The fabric you choose will make it your very own original!
In this two-week class you’ll learn garment sewing tips and tricks and build skills that will empower you to take on even more fashion sewing:
· Fabric layout, pattern placement and cutting
· Transferring pattern markings to fabric
· Seams and seam finishing
· Casing for elastic and drawstrings
· Simple fit adjustments and design changes

PREREQUISITE:
Sewing Machine Basics & Learn to Sew Level 1 Apron class or equivalent.

This class is held at Sew-Op + Maker Space in Vancouver, WA, across the Columbia River from Portland, OR.
For Portlanders who don’t often cross the river, it’s easy. Traveling north on I-5, take Mill Plain exit toward Port of Vancouver, stay in the left lane. (The far left lane is not Mill Plain.) Turn left at light and move to the right lane. You are now on 15th Street. Turn right on Broadway. Sew-Op is in the green building on right—the first building you come to.
