GREAT INSTRUCTION!
Join us in the upcoming year for our four- and five-day workshops here
in Portland, Oregon. Every year our workshops evolve, thanks to testing,
research and student input. We're particularly excited about our
Learn
to Teach Beginning
Sewing workshop. Because beginning sewing is not being taught in most
schools today, there is a need for beginning sewing teachers. This workshop
meets that need.
Hundreds of students from around the world have come to Portland, Oregon
for our sewing workshops at the Palmer/Pletsch International School of
Sewing. You’ll share camaraderie and sewing time with other sewers from
all walks of life—from surgeons to CEOs to fabric store owners, attorneys,
farmers, and dressmakers.
You'll be guided by the qualified Palmer/Pletsch teaching
team.
You’ll learn not only the easiest way to perform a task, but the best way.
When there is more than one “BEST” way, you will be offered choices. Select
the best way for YOU.
We have been teaching sewing for over 25 years,
focusing on quality garments sewn with limited time. Working with and
influencing pattern companies has helped us bring our message to you
in the broadest way. We publish books and videos that document our
findings and help make sewing fun, fast and easy. We want to share our
knowledge with you in these workshops, and to train you to share it
with others.
