Pati's books Fit for Real People
and Pants for Real People are consumers'
favorite references. Pati will show how the Palmer/Pletsch
System of Fit works for bodices and pants in her thorough
slide presentation. She will then ask for audience
volunteers to demonstrate tissue-fitting on real bodies.
Then she will wrap up with more slides showing the important
sewing techniques that affect the fit and look of the
finished garment.

Palmer will give you her favorite techniques for getting
quality results. The right interfacing and its application
techniques are crucial to the end product. She will share
many tips for making sewing jackets and shirts easier and
better. This year Pati celebrates her 30th year as a
designer for McCall's and is currently their #1 best seller.
She will show many of her designs during the class and talk
about special techniques used when she made them.
