Dear friends,
In this issue you will find our latest research in
fashion, color and accessory trends for Spring/Summer and new ideas for
updating your existing wardrobe with accessories, fabrics, prints and
details.
In Part Three, our Editor’s Choice & Most Wearable
Pattern Selections are two new perfect suit and coordinate patterns from
Palmer/Pletsch. They are sensational looking and will be the backbone of
your new season’s wardrobe.
In Part Four, our Figure Type Pattern Picks are a
selection of new patterns chosen from the McCall’s, Vogue, and Butterick
pattern books for five figure types. Simply use our figure type symbols as
your guide.
We hope that you will join us this summer for one of
our many wonderful Palmer/Pletsch sewing workshops in beautiful Portland,
Oregon! You will find the class dates in Part IV on page 24
Have a wonderful Summer!
All the best,

We welcome your comments and suggestions.

| Each part of Fashion for Your
Figure is a separate Adobe Acrobat pdf (portable document file). Because
our pages are filled with fashion photos and illustrations, it may take
a while for Adobe Acrobat Reader to bring these pages up on your
computer unless you download the files to your hard drive (see
instructions at right). We do appreciate your patience, and hope
you find the wait worthwhile!

Note: You do not need Adobe Acrobat --
just the FREE Acrobat Reader. The free version available at their
web site is version 4.0, even though it doesn't say that on their web
page. This newsletter is designed to be ready by version 4. You may have
problems if you have an earlier version.
If you already have Acrobat Reader but are getting
error messages, you may want to try to reinstall it from their web site.
We suggest you uninstall your current version first.

Is the viewing too slow? Consider downloading
the pdf files to your hard drive. It will be the quickest way
to view these documents, but it takes a little planning, and room on your
hard drive. Download each file. Different servers will have you
follow different instructions. On a PC you start by right
clicking on each of the Parts above. Some servers have you download
"link," others ask if you want to download "target." After they are
downloaded go the the directory on your hard drive where you
have saved them and click on the files to view the newsletter. Adobe
Acrobat Reader will open them.
We suggest doing the download at a time when you can be
doing other things, too. It may take a while! But when you finally
sit down to look through the issue, it will go quickly from page to
page. When you are done, either delete the file, or save it for
future reference. We do ask you to remember... this is copyrighted
material.
